All to often, as a ‘Boss’ I take our staff for granted. With only one full day left before the holiday, we still had several important deliveries to get out. We had planned our deliveries strategically. Like a well oiled machine, but then, SNOW and lots of it. We understand our customer’s requirements and needs and to ensure that their operation continues without having to worry about late deliveries, our staff made a huge effort to not only get to work, but to load up and get the deliveries out without delay. The length of time it takes to complete the round trip is 3 or 4 times the normal, but in these conditions, it’s not surprising.

I am happy to say, that considering how busy we have been in general and with all the extra deliveries of Rock Salt, (masterful planning on my part to buy it, or was it Adrian, no I think it was me. And a good job we bought it all in August!!!) The team has got all deliveries out, sometimes a little late, but we got there.

Well, it’s been several months since the move to our new, purpose built factory and offices, so I thought it’s about time to update this blog section with the biggest news we have since the company was started.

Chemsol Cymru Ltd’s commitment and investment in green technology is truly practising what we preach.

The new facility was designed and built with higher than normal insulation for the offices. The new building has a dedicated rainwater harvesting, filtering, sterilization and pressurised pumping system. The grey water is used in the lavatories, vehicle washing and general cleaning of production area. The yard and factory waste waters all pass through a dedicated interceptor tank with grit and oil traps, all alarmed. The office has a four zone under floor heating system with the energy source from our own ground source heat pump, with a single borehole ground loop of 100 meters.  Our carbon footprint is truly very low.
